  • I took up riding as part of filling by bucket list...my experience of learning to ride with Sue has been very rewarding.. My grandchildren had the best time at her summer camp. Sue is very professional .... her horses are amazing ...safety is paramount combined with a very creative learning environment. The kids and I can't wait for another summer riding with Sue and her horses.

  • Our family of 4 (children 2 & 5) stayed in Cottage #11 for 8 nights. The cottages were super clean and tidy and had just about everything we needed! (Only suggestion would be to add a frying pan to the kitchen!). Everyone working at the cottages was very friendly and helpful with local information. Had our children been a bit older, the loft area would have been a perfect sleeping arrangement. This particular cottage had a small "closet" area in the bathroom which perfectly fit the port-a-crib, and so this is where our littlest one spent the nights. We had tons of fun on the tire swing and playing tether ball, walking to playgrounds (check out the hidden one near the elementary school that's completely wooden - so cool!), and walking downtown. The downtown area had plenty for us all to explore and was a much larger stretch of stores/restaurants than I had imagined. We visited nearby Albee Beach which was perfect for our kids - clean, clear, and clam. We visited Castle in the Clouds, which was amazing, and drove then hiked to Abenaki Tower which had an unbelievable view of the lake from high above. Story Land was only an easy 1 hour drive away - a day trip that was well worth it. In short, we absolutely loved our visit and would recommend these cottages and this area to anyone!

  • We have been going here for years and love the peace and quiet while under the pines. The view is great and it's easy to go swimming from the dock. A great place to stay and forget about work while you enjoy Lake Winnipesaukee.
